My Story
For more than 30 years, I built my career in the hospitality industry—starting at the front lines and eventually leading global operations for some of the most respected hotel brands in the world, including Four Seasons, Starwood, Evolution Hospitality, and BridgeStreet Global Hospitality. Along the way, I had the privilege of working with extraordinary teams, opening new properties, improving guest experiences, and mentoring future leaders.
In 2020, after decades of navigating the fast-paced demands of the industry, I took a step back to reflect on what truly made a difference in the teams I led and the cultures we built. That reflection led me to launch Leeds Hospitality Group, a consulting firm designed to support hotel owners and operators with hands-on expertise in operations, asset management, and new project development.
But the deeper insight I uncovered—and the one that’s shaped this next chapter of my life—is the undeniable impact of gratitude.
Gratitude has always been part of my leadership style, but I began to understand it as more than just good manners—it’s a powerful force for building stronger teams, healthier workplaces, and more resilient leadership. That realization inspired me to create the Tuesday’s Thanks podcast, where I interview hospitality leaders about their professional journeys and give them the opportunity to publicly thank those who helped shape their success.
Now, with The Power of Gratitude at Work program, I’m bringing that message directly to organizations. Through speaking engagements, workshops, and challenges designed to integrate gratitude into everyday work culture, I help teams move beyond transactions and toward genuine connection, appreciation, and performance.
This isn’t just a leadership tool—it’s a human one. And I’m grateful to share it with you.
